Caddies are equally important in the game of golf. They may not be able to take part as a player, but give insights, instruction and help the golfer about the shots , weather and status of wind . Without a good caddy its difficult for any golfer to win an event or to compete with some of the best golfers.

Caddies are often viewed as teenagers earning spending money during their summers . But caddying for a PGA Tour member is an entirely different animal.

Top caddies can make seven-figures and 10 of them made at least $600,000 in 2014.

1) Micah Fugitt ($1.57 million)

Micah Fugitt caddies for Billy Horschel. When Horschel won the Tour Championship last September to clinch the FedEx Cup, He paid 10 percent of his haul. This made Fugitt a millionaire. Horschel is known to show his gratitude to people who help him. Fugitt said that he experienced a wide range of emotions when he got the money. He said he was shocked and happy. This amazing caddie plans to set up college funds for his two children.

JP Fitzgerald’s player Rory McIlroy was a teenager when the pair partnered in 2008. He was ranked outside the top 150. In 2014, Northern Irish professional golfer McIlroy won four events and $14 million. Fitzgerald is definitely pleased with his player’s performance.

Gareth Lord caddies for Swedish professional golf player Henrik Stenson, who plays both on the PGA and European Tours. He won the FedEx Cup in 2013. Gareth received 10 percent cut of his player’s $10 million winner’s prize money. He bought himself a Ferrari with the money.

Rose in the fifth-ranked player in the world, but Mark has regularly caddied for a #1 in Laura Davies. Laura Davies is an English professional golfer.

Mike is American professional golfer Jim Furyk’s caddie. He became famous as Tiger Woods’ first PGA Tour caddie before they parted ways in 1999. Looping for Jim has been profitable the last couple of years for Mike. Jim made around $8 million in the year 2014. Tiger Woods made less than Cowan.

7) Neil Wallace ($695,000)

10) Craig Connelly ($625,000)

Craig Connelly caddies for German professional golfer Martin Kaymer. He was Martin’s caddie in 2010 when he won the PGA Championship.
